Join us Saturday, August 12th watching some of the best high school football programs in South Carolina being played right here in Charleston, as WakeUp Carolina presents its 2nd Annual 2023 1Team1Cause Recovery Bowl: Tackling Substance Use.

All games will be played at Buccaneer Field, the Charleston Southern University football stadium, located at 9200 University Blvd North Charleston, SC 29406.

First Baptist, Cross, Northwood Academy, Dorchester Academy, Pinewood Prep, Porter Gaud, St Johns Christian Academy, Colleton Prep Academy, Trinity Collegiate, and Beaufort Academy will all be participating in this year’s showcase!

“WakeUp Carolina Presents the 2^nd Annual 1Team 1Cause Recovery Bowl: Tackling Substance Use” is an annual high school football showcase with a mission for athletes and those who love them united to stop drug-related tragedies on the field and off the field. WakeUp Carolina, local nonprofit and area recovery community organization, is the designated charity with all event proceeds directly going into their programs and services promoting awareness, education and hope in recovery for young people, adults, and families touched by substance use in the greater Charleston area.
