Cocktail Competition: Friday January 13th - The weekend will kick-off with the Cocktail Competition on Friday at the Tides in the Pavilion Ballroom from 7-10pm! This battle of the bartenders will showcase the beach's best mixologists making delicious craft cocktails! Tickets are $25 ahead of time and $30 the day off! This event has limited ticketing and will likely sell out. All cocktails in the competition are included!

Cocktail Competition Entry Requirements:
Must be 21 years old to enter.

Savory Saturday: Saturday January 14th - Center Street will be closed on "Savory Saturday" and taken over by Folly establishments to serve up their best dishes and exhibit their skills through live demonstrations. What's an event without some competition? Taste will feature a Hot Dog Eating, Oyster Shucking Contests and the Server Olympics. We are also thrilled to bring back our spin on the Chili Cook-Off by introducing the "One Pot Showdown"! All of this will be complemented by local bands, 50+ Folly art, craft, and fashion vendors, and a robust kid area, Taste of Folly will have something for everyone! Tickets will be $15 the day-of for Savory Saturday.

The streets will close at 7am and reopen at 6:00pm; but are open to the public from 10am - 4pm. Admission is $10 in advance [and $15 at the door], but is free for Folly residents (must show valid drivers license) and kids 12 and under are free.

Cooking Demonstrations: Select restaurants will have live demonstrations at their booths throughout the day. More info on the demonstration and times coming soon!

Hot Dog Eating Contest: On the Ashley stage starting at 1pm, you will enjoy some great entertainment on a January afternoon. Free to enter, sign-up in advance online!. Sponsored by Berts! Prizes will be awarded!

Oyster Shucking Contest: Come show off your shucking skills during prime oyster season, starting at 2:30pm on the Ashley Stage. Sponsored by The Washout! Prizes will be awarded!

Server Olympics: Watch as our servers navigate an obstacle course while holding a tray high in the air! Prizes will be awarded!

One Pot Showdown: Take one part chili cookoff, one part stew stampede, one part gumbo gauntlet, and ten parts culinary competition; heat to a rolling boil, stir occasionally and there you have the One Pot Showdown. Prizes will be awarded!

Live Music: Taste will have two (3) stages showcasing Folly musicians. Additional details regarding the lineup coming soon!

Kids Area: Check out the Kids Kitchen by Good Clean Fun with Pots & Pans Percussion, stilt walkers, jugglers, pasta making, and more! There will also be free inflatables for games and jumping fun!
