The annual Sea & Sand Festival, Folly’s longest-running festival, returns to Folly Beach with a weekend full of family-friendly events.

From the Folly River Park straight to the beach, the Sea & Sand weekend will include an artisan & food-focused street closure event, as well as some healthy competition in the sand on Sunday.

Center Street will be closed* on “Salty Saturday” and taken over by Folly vendors, restaurants, and bars. The street closure event will take place from 10am – 4pm and will feature local bands, 40+ Folly art, craft, and fashion vendors, and a robust kid area. Sunday will feature a Sand Castle building contest starting at 10am beachfront of the Tides.

Admission is $9 in advance or $15 the day of. Folly residents and kids 12 and under are free.

No Animals, Coolers, Bikes, Skateboards, Scooters, or Backpacks (except diaper bags). No Outside Beverages. Reusable cups are permitted but must be empty upon entering and exiting the event. Rain or shine event. Rain Date: Saturday, March 5, 2022. Service dogs are allowed with proper documentation.

*The streets will close to auto traffic at 7am and reopen at 6:00pm.
