Cooper Lake was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 4. His mother realized something was wrong during their family trip to Disney World and that is when his battle against cancer began, when he stepped into MUSC. He will undergo 3-5 years of various chemotherapies and countless hospital stays
